A beauty industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, Maria Santilli is no stranger to the industry. As Former International Artistic Director for J Beverly Hills®, Maria served for more than a decade leading, producing and teaching at large-scale hair shows and conventions in New York, Chicago and Las Vegas, among other major cities.
A Native of Columbus, Ohio, Maria was raised in Italy where she began her career apprenticing at the Aldo Piersante hair salon. As a third-generation hair stylist, Maria developed a passion for the artistry of hair cutting and coloring and first honed her skills in the art of hair cutting in her hometown of Pescara, Italy. Maria’s career took shape under the influence and guidance of famous industry figures, such as Aldo Coppola, Bruno Pittini, Anthony Mascolo, Vidal Sassoon and many others.
Maria credits her wide ranging knowledge and education as the key to her success. Her innate creativity and sharp focus on the clients experience result in thoughtful, uniquely crafted and cutting-edge cuts and colors that are perfectly tailored to each client. Maria is widely recognized as a creative, versatile and passionate artist in her craft of hair design.
